Mike began his career working on the road as a guitar tech in Seattle. Life on the road was exciting, but it offered little opportunity to grow as a luthier. So he moved to Boulder in 1995 and after looking around, found Woodsong’s to be the best option for learning and practicing the craft. With a well-rounded knowledge base and a real thirst for learning new things, Mike is the “jack of all trades” in the shop. There are few jobs that he will not take on. Mike is trusted by many for his mandolin, violin and dobro work.
